Great news as far as player fitness goes for the Latics, only Kev McNaughton is in the sick bay with Jason Pearce and Haris Vuckic the latest to return to training following layoffs.

Craig Davies could feature, whilst Will Grigg and Donald Love are both available for selection following their return from international duty.

Speaking about the injury situation Latics boss Gary Caldwell said – ‘We had a full squad training for the first time in a while on Thursday

‘The numbers were large and only Kevin McNaughton missed out through a long-term injury.

‘Some of the players aren’t quite ready to be in the squad because they have had more longer-term injuries than others’.

Latics possible – Jaaskelainen, Daniels, Morgan, Barnett, James, Perkins, Power, McCann, Jacobs, Wildschut, Grigg.

Matthew Griggs is available after serving a one match suspension and Sammie Szmodics is fit and hoping to get a start.

Gavin Massey and Owen Garvan are major doubts for Colchester boss Tony Hume, both have leg injuries and are rated 50/50 whilst Frankie Kent is nursing a sore toe and is also doubtful.

Speaking about Massey and Garvan Us boss Tony Hume said – ‘We’re waiting to see how their injuries settle down and we’ll leave it as late as possible before making a decision’

‘But if ever players do miss out, we know we’ve got others who can step in.’

Colchester possible – Jones, Olufemi, Bonne, Eastman, Elokobi, Edwards, Ambrose, Moncur, Porter, Harriott, Sordell

This week’s crew in the studio are Gareth, Adam, Kathryn, Rob, Simon and Barry.

We start off with the Bury ‘Off The Terrace’ report and the stats from the game.

What a game again for the travelling support, two goals, Grant Holt and Cisco Junior, no beer on sale, Flitcroft bemoaning the referee and Leon Barnett in comedy fall, it’s all here.

We have Colchester at the DW Stadium on Saturday, Kathryn steps in for the poorly Dan and delivers his preview, in typical Dan style.

Simon gives us the bookies odds, this one is all about the Latics.

Peterborough away on Tuesday and Barry’s done a preview, he’s also making the long trip and hoping for the win!
