Wigan Athletic striker Conor Sammon has been voted the Latics man of the match for his performance in last Saturdays win against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

The former Kilmarnock frontman had a very good game and his tireless performance ran the Sunderland back line ragged at times, he was unlucky not to get on the score sheet but gave his all for the team

For the record the voting was:

Conor Sammon – 33%
Ronnie Stam – 24%
Ali Al-Habsi – 21%
