Wigan Athletic attacking midfield man Charles N`Zogbia says he will do all in his power to help the Latics maintain their Premier League status this season, that`s his focus and all thoughts on his future can wait until the summer.

The France international is subject to endless media speculation as to which club he will be playing at next, but Charlie doesn`t let that scrutiny get in the way of his undoubted commitment to the Latics.

Last summer Birmingham City came in with a £9 million bid and N`Zogbia was allowed by the Latics to talk to them, but he turned the move down and decided to stay at the DW Stadium.

In the January transfer window there was again activity, this time two clubs trying to prise Charlie away, Liverpool wanted him on loan until the end of the season, never going to happen and Newcastle came in with an eleventh hour bid, but again the 24 year old was content to keep his focus and remain at the Latics.

Speaking to the media about the Latics and his future N`Zogbia said: ‘I’ve been here two years and I want to do everything possible to keep the club in the Premier League.

‘I’ll finish this season and then look at my future.’

‘I have no regrets’

In June N`Zogbia enters the last year on his contract, if he can`t be persuaded to renew then the Latics just might cash in on their star asset, but for the moment it`s all focus on helping the club survive.
