Wigan Athletic striker Mauro Boselli, currently on loan at his former club Estudiantes, appears to have found his goalscoring touch after popping in goals in consecutive games.

Estudiantes though have lost ground on the leaders in Argentina’s Torneo Clausura after an away defeat and a home draw, last week Boselli opened the scoring against Belgrano Cordoba on 13 minutes when, following a cleared corner, the ball was fired back into the box and the 26 year old got his head on the ball to direct home, unfortunately for Boselli the home side struck back and won the game 2-1

This weekend Boselli snatched a late, late equaliser to secure a point in a 2-2 draw with Colon Santa Fe, Estudiantes are now four points off the top of the table ahead of the rest of the weekend’s fixtures.
