First off, for me, this isn’t a relegation battle. We’ll be playing Bolton again next season in these heated derby affairs as I believe the bottom three are more or less cast in stone now. Had we not beaten the ‘pool, I would’ve said we’re still in trouble, but I believe that win coupled with other good possible results will see us safe.
A lot of people had berated Martinez but he seems to blow from one extreme to the next but I want Roberto Martinez to stay in the job and maybe his dream of getting Wigan into Europe will soon become a reality.
As for Owen Coyle, he’s looking to get back to winning ways following a dour display at Sunderland. They were easy prey that night, but they did show some promise so the Wigan team will need to be careful. They have their threats and the Reebok has never been an easy stadium to go to.
For me, there is little at stake because the future of our club will not be decided here.

Bolton are not too bad at home but they struggle for goals and Wigan’s away record is not great either so I’m going to go for a nervy draw.
