Former Latics manager Graham Barrow has been appointed head of development at AFC Fylde.

Barrow was appointed first team coach at Wigan under new manager Roberto Martinez in 2009 and went on to become caretaker manager on three occasions.

Upon joining Fylde, Barrow said: “Fylde have a firm ambition to reach the Football League and believe my experience and contacts will help them to realise that dream.

I have worked with several top managers in the past, from Kevin Keegan and Kenny Jacket to Roberto Martinez and Uwe Rosler.’

All the best, Graham.
