Following on from yesterdays report that Wigan Athletic were in talks with La Liga club Levante UD for striker Arouna Koné it is now being reported in Spain that a deal has been done for ?5 million

The Spanish press are reporting that the 28 year old striker is in Wigan for a medical and to sort out the formalities. Koné, it is suggested, has turned down a host of moves to more exotic destinations, in order to follow his dream and sign for the Latics enabling him to work with Roberto Martinez. Magnificent!
