Latics and Millwall have met 24 times down the years, we don’t have the best of records against those cheeky, chirpy chappies from the East End of the Smoke, Millwall having the better of things so far.

Latics 6 wins, Millwall 11, draws 7

The first meeting came back in 1935 on the 12th January, a newly founded Wigan Athletic (just over 2 years old) made the 3rd round of the FA cup and were roundly beaten at Springfield Park by Millwall, 1-4.

The last meeting between the two sides was a goalless draw at the DW back in October, last season the Lions completed the double over us.
