Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi has been voted the Latics man of the match for his performance in last Wednesday’s 0-0 draw against Liverpool at the DW Stadium.

Ali was simply outstanding in the game, his penalty save from Charlie Adam topped off an evening of truly world class goalkeeping, yep Ali was thoroughly deserving of the man of the match accolade.

For the record the voting was:

Ali Al-Habsi – 64%
Momo Diame – 18%
James McCarthy – 5%

Penalty King, man of the match performance from Ali
